| Saving JPG files to PC - Help! Hi,
I have a TJ25 and I transferred some pics from a phone to my Clie via IR.
Is there a way, via Hotsync, to get those files to my pc? I don't have a memory stick and no IR on my PC.
When a sync is done, the files get transferred to my PC but are stored in PDB. Is there a way to transform them to JPG?
any help is appreciated.
thanks
EDIT: Btw, i did try to use pdbconverter. i dragged the pdb's to them, no change

| I was thinking you're supposed to put "non palm programs" on a mem stick...I've had to buy one for that ...how have you your pics stored on the handheld? Anyway, clič viewer can read jpg, I think, so maybe pdb is only an extension used by hotsync...try rename the pdb as jpg, and see what happens... |

| hi,
thanks for the reply.
You can transfer non-palm(native) files to clie via IR for example.
Once you get an MS, I have read that your Clie becomes like an external drive.
My problem was getting files off my clie to a PC.
I used PDB converter, I managed to work it out. http://members.shaw.ca/nz90/pdbconv...dbconverter.zip
download the file, extract the contents and use
clicamcv file.pdb file.jpg
it's argument driven
thanks anyway |

#8 | | Guest | use CLIE viewer to move the image from internal memory to the memory card. the .pdb file will then be converted into the usual .jpg and reside in your memory card.

#9 | | Guest | Thanks so much, I had the same problem with my TJ27. Here's another link to a program if anyone else wants to use it: http://trials.palmgear.com/dl2.php/...ieConverter.exe
Just drag and drop into the window and the resulting .jpg is left in the same folder as the .pdb was.
